President and CEO
Tony Boutelle is the president and Chief Executive Officer of CU Direct Corporation. Tony has held this position since 1997, when the company separated from the California Credit Union League. Tony has over 25 years of credit union industry experience and expertise, beginning his career in the credit union movement at the Colorado Credit Union League in 1985.
As president of CU Direct, he has overseen the company’s establishment of the nation’s largest auto lending network for credit unions, as well as the development and growth of its affiliate brands, CUDL, Lending Insights, Lending 360 and CUDL Retail, which serve more than 900 credit unions and their 27.5 million members nationwide.

Executive Vice President, Dealer and Auto Buying Solutions
Jerry Neemann is the executive vice president of dealer and auto buying solutions at CU Direct, a position he has held since 2012, as well as Managing General Partner and Board Chairman for VERO, a CU Direct subsidiary. Jerry has over 25 years of credit union industry experience, including the development of automotive sales and strategies, and marketing programs. Jerry heads all aspects of sales at CU Direct, encompassing strategic alliances, development of product sales, training and lending services.
Jerry joined CU Direct as vice president of business development in 1998, and has successfully expanded the company’s operations from the original state of California to a nation-wide network, as well as developing and expanding the company’s product offerings across each of its brands.
Jerry graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
Chief of Staff
Bob Child is the chief of staff at CU Direct, a position he has held since 2012. Bob oversees the company’s marketing and communications, training, and human resources functions. Bob is also a member of the organization’s strategic planning team.
Senior Vice President, CU Products
Joe Greenwald is the senior vice president of CU products at CU Direct, a position he has held since 2012. Joe oversees development of CU Direct’s credit union products for the CUDL, CUDL Retail, Lending 360, and Lending Insights brands. Previously, Joe headed the company’s national marketing function including product marketing, communications, training, and research. He is also a member of the organization’s strategic planning team.
Joe has 20 years of experience and expertise in marketing management within a number of industries, including financial services. Prior to joining CU Direct, Joe was with Experian where he was instrumental in the development of the company’s Client Promise program and its organization-wide, national roll-out. While at Experian, he also led a vertical marketing team responsible for growing services targeted at the credit union and automotive markets.
Joe earned his MBA from the University of California, Irvine and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
Executive Vice President, Products & Development
Kip Haas is the executive vice president of Products and Development, a position he has held since 2009. Kip, who joined the company as CIO in 2004, leads CU Direct’s technology team that drives strategic business decisions with software solutions.

Prior to joining CU Direct, Kip held a number of positions with First American Title, including Vice President/CIO Default Technologies, Vice President, Division Manager National Lenders, and Director of Technology. Kip has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
|Craig S. Montesanti
Chief Financial Officer
Craig Montesanti is the Chief Financial Officer at CU Direct, a position he has held since March 2005. Craig has over 25 years of experience in accounting/finance operations, and has been instrumental in providing strategic leadership in the financial management and operational directives that drive the company’s present and future successes.
Craig’s experience and expertise includes:
Prior to joining the company, he was CFO for Lifepoint, Inc., and vice president of finance and administration for Puroflow Inc., both publicly traded organizations. In addition, he has been the director of finance for the publicly traded VitalCom and Trikon; and the controller for Ioptex Inc. Craig has an MBA from Pepperdine University and received his B.S. in Business Management/Accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
